On March 24, Boston Urban Exchange (BUX) will team up with the Conservation Law Foundation to co-host an exciting gathering of interesting, talented, environmentalists and urbanists (both veteran and new to the field).  Come out and join us!

This collaboration is the final installment of BUX's effort to build a vibrant regional network of people whose work shapes the public realm. We thank you for your support over the last couple months, and hope you've made great connections with other urban-minded professionals.

Just as a reminder: this is a free, open, and informal event, and there's no agenda or presentation. Our focus is on providing opportunities for interesting, talented, urban-minded people to meet and exchange ideas, connections, etc.

Please share with your networks.  The more the merrier!

History
Boston Urban Exchange is an ad hoc organization with a goal to connect all those who have an interest in Boston's built environment. We started in the Summer of 2009 and have collaborated with the Awesome Foundation, Boston Preservation Alliance, Common Boston, and Planner's Network Boston Chapter. The events are open to anyone, and we tend to attract a broad range of professionals: urban planners, architects, real estate developers, preservationists, politicos, technologists, urban theorists, environmentalists, affordable housing advocates, lawyers, artists, entrepreneurs, etc.  Sometimes, when people attend, they simply build their networks.  Other times, we are proud to note, people pitch ideas and find collaborators and/or supporters.
We sunset in March 2010.

Who is the Conservation Law Foundation (CLF)?

The Conservation Law Foundation works to solve the most significant environmental challenges facing New England. CLF's advocates use law, economics and science to create innovative strategies that conserve natural resources, protect public health and promote vital communities in our region.

CLF plays an active role in implementation of the state’s Global Warming Solutions Act, extension of Green Line Service to Medford/Somerville, protecting waterways from stormwater pollution and efforts to rebuild New England’s groundfish stocks.
